2017年8月は、ヨーロッパでさらなるテロが発生。また、北朝鮮のミサイル問題が大変話題となりました。
17日、スペインのバルセロナでテロが発生しました。歩道を歩く観光客の中にバンが突っ込み、多数の死傷者が出てしまいました。
また後の調べで、実行犯は当初多数のガスボンベを使用し、バルセロナのサグラダ・ファミリア教会を爆破する予定であったことが報じられています。
日本人も多く訪れる観光名所でおきた今回のテロ事件。ヨーロッパは大変危険な地帯となってしまった印象を受けます。
29日、北朝鮮が日本列島に向けミサイルを発射。今回は事前予告なしで列島上空を通過するという、安全保障上極めて重大な事案となりました。
近年では09年、12年に北朝鮮の発射した弾道ミサイルが日本列島上空を通過するニュースがありましたが、これには事前通告がありましたので、今回ほどの事案にはなっていません。
